In just two days, on July 20, Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale opens up to the public. As the department store's biggest sale of the year, thousands of items will be heavily marked down — and you can definitely expect that people will start taking advantage of the limited-time deals early.
If you're worried about not being able to buy the items you want, there's a simple solution. Nordstrom is giving cardholders early access to all the deals before everyone else.
For those who don't have a card, getting one is easy. You can apply online here and get instant approval, which means you can shop the sale right away. You'll also get a $40 bonus "Note" when you make any purchase with your card on the day you're approved, which you can use toward purchases at Nordstrom.
Much like men's apparel and dress shoes, sneakers will be one of the first categories shoppers go after, so you'll want tp grab your favorite styles in the right sizes before the early-access window closes. Once the sale opens to the public, you can expect certain items to either sell out completely or become very sparse.
